Area Information
Schools - A bus picks up our children at the gate and
transports them five miles to Jasper. Most of our children are
delighted with the friendly school system, which offers in addition
to a well-rounded curriculum, a small town sense of belonging
and a feeling that everyone counts. Pickens County has a new
high school and also has a modern new middle school.
Medical Care - In Jasper there is a good hospital, and
another in Canton twenty miles beyond. It is only forty-five
minutes to some of the finest medical care facilities in the
South.
