Area Information

Schools - A bus picks up our children at the gate and transports them five miles to Jasper. Most of our children are delighted with the friendly school system, which offers in addition to a well-rounded curriculum, a small town sense of belonging and a feeling that everyone counts. Pickens County has a new high school and also has a modern new middle school.

Medical Care - In Jasper there is a good hospital, and another in Canton twenty miles beyond. It is only forty-five minutes to some of the finest medical care facilities in the South.

Location

Bent Tree is located on the first mountain range north of Atlanta, only one hour from Atlanta and easily accessed by two very scenic parkways, I-575 and Georgia 400. It's only a 45-minute drive to Marietta. The quiet unhurried town of Jasper is only 5 miles away and offers excellent restaurants, churches, parks, supermarkets, historical sites, hardware and gift shops.

Local Directions

From GA 400: Take GA 400 to the Dawsonville Exit. Turn Left on Hwy 53 through Dawsonville to the Pickens County line. Turn right on Steve Tate Hwy. Take the second left onto Cove Road. Go 6 miles. Turn right on Bent Tree Drive.

From I-575: Stay on I-575 and I-515 to Jasper. At GA Hwy 53 and I-515 turn right at the light. Turn left at the second light. Veer right on Cove Road. Go about 4 miles. Turn left on Bent Tree Drive.

From Northwest Atlanta
(The most traveled and well-known route from points south and west to Bent Tree)

1. Travel north from Atlanta on I-75 N (toward Marietta/Chattanooga)
2. Continue on I-75 N to I-575 N - Note: I-575 N forks to the right off I-75N and changes to GA 5/GA 515 north of Canton
3. Continue northeast on GA 5 to the junction of GA 53.
4. From the traffic light at the intersection of 5/515 and Hwy 53 BUS in Jasper (BP gas station on NW corner, McDonald's and Ingles grocery on SE corner)
5. Drive east on GA 53 BUS into Jasper for 1.7 miles.
6. Turn north (left) onto Burnt Mountain Road (Walgreens Pharmacy on corner), driving for 0.3 miles.
7. At ALL WAY stop sign turn east (right) onto Cove Road (CITGO gas station on NE corner), driving for 3.7 miles.
8. Turn north (left) onto Bent Tree Drive, driving 1.3 miles to security gate.

1. Drive north on GA 400 passing under I-285 N. (GA 400 begins in uptown Atlanta in an exclusive business, residential and shopping area called Buckhead. Beginning as a toll road it continues north through suburban and outlying areas toward historical and rural mountain areas to North Carolina).
2. Turn left at the traffic light at the intersection of GA 400 N and GA 53 near Dawsonville (North Georgia Premium Outlets close by)
3. Drive west on Hwy 53, through Dawsonville for approximately 17 miles.
4. Turn north (right) onto Steve Tate Highway (Foothills Village on NW corner, Chevron gas station on NE corner), driving for 1 mile.
5. Turn west (left) onto Cove Road, driving for 6 miles.
6. Turn north (right) onto Bent Tree Drive, driving 1.3 miles to security gate

1. Travel east on I-20 E to I-285 N (Atlanta)
2. Drive north on I-285 N to I-75 N (toward Marietta/Chattanooga)
3. Travel north from Atlanta on I-75 N to I-575 N - Note: I-575 N forks to the right off I-75 N and changes to GA 5/GA 515 north of Canton
4. Continue northeast on GA 5 to the junction of GA 53.

1. Drive I-85 S from Charlotte, NC and points north to I-285 W toward Chattanooga/Birmingham
2. Merge right onto I-75 N toward Marietta/Chattanooga
3. Travel north from Atlanta on I-75 N to I-575 N - Note: I-575 forks to the right off I-75N and changes to GA 5/GA 515 north of Canton
4. Continue northeast on GA 5 to the junction of GA 53.
5. From the traffic light at the intersection of 5/515 and GA 53 BUS in Jasper (BP Gas Station on NW corner, McDonald's and Ingles Grocery on SE corner)
